Please give Lake Aid your old toys for the Christmas Party!
Every year Lake Aid teams up with Secours Populaire and Collectif Urgences Rom to organise a fantastic Christmas Party for 300 homeless and asylum-seeking children and their families in Annecy.
Lake Aid is in charge of organising fun activities to entertain the children during the party. Alongside the ever-popular Father Christmas photo booth, a team of 30 Lake Aid volunteers will be helping the kids to do festive crafts and games.
We are currently collecting old toys, dolls, games or puzzles for the Christmas Party Toy Corner. This is a quiet place for children to play with their parents when the excitement of the party is too much for them. At the end of the afternoon everything is given away, so you can be sure that your donations will go to a good home.
This year we are also accepting warm children’s clothes (coats, hats, gloves, boots) for needy families to help themselves to.
Please contact us (link to contact form) if you have a donation to make so that we can organise pick-up or delivery to a Lake Aid volunteer near you Alternatively you can deliver donations on the day of the party (14th December) from 11am to the Christmas Party.
