Two urgent requests: At the beginning of January, two of the young people we support*, who are unaccompanied minors, will have to leave their current lodgings because they have recently tuned 18. Being apprentices, they are on the waiting list for a place in young workers’ hostels, but we do not know when one will become available.
We would like to offer them lodgings in the meantime – if possible in Annecy:
- One youngster is in high school in Annecy-le-Vieux and doing an apprenticeship (in electricals) in Meythet
- The other one is in high school in Sevrier and doing an apprenticeship (in sales) in Seynod*
If you have a bedroom or a studio to offer or to rent to them, please let us know.

In July, Mamadou, who we have known since December 2019, will be in the same situation. He will be 18 years old on 7th July and will be doing an apprenticeship in Annecy and going to high school in Albertville.

We would like to establish a file of addresses of people prepared to host on an occasional basis:
- To provide temporary low-cost lodgings as in the case below
- for weekends or vacation breaks with families.
We are also looking for a small apartment to rent for an Albanian family who has been living in emergency accommodation (a container) for three years. They have three children, the youngest of whom has health problems. They are open to any suggestions, even outside of Annecy.
